Trip down memory lane...

This past week the last immediate member of my dad's family passed away, Frederick K Lamborn, or Uncle Kay.Two of his greatest feats in life where...
1: breaking the milk cow to ride
Building his own boat that would float

Here is a picture of the whole family.
My dad, Rich is back left with Hugh L and Raymond next
The bottom row is Grandpa, Kay and Grandma

Here they are again a little latter in life
This time the back row is
Raymond, Rich, Hugh L, Kay
Front row is
Grandma and Grandpa
Here we all are in a formal family picture.
I am the little darling in her mother's arms on the right side.
Not long after this the first brother or uncle passed away followed by another brother and then my grandmother and my dad. Which left just my grandpa and Uncle Kay. Grandpa died in Dec. of 86.
My Grandpa was all about his dry farm!
He loved that red dirt and filled the bathtub with it every night all summer.

This is one of my favorite places on earth.
Black Mountain
It is amazing how we can pick this peak out from so many different places.
A different time
A different place
Worker of the soil
Harvester of the good life
