Two of our favorite summer traditions are the

Woodruff 4th of July celebration

and

Brownie Lake.

I think we started going to Woodruff because that is where Tom spent the first 11 years of his life.

It is still like going home.

The parade is short and sweet and you get to see it twice. You can collect enough candy to last till Halloween if not Christmas.

The dutch oven meal they serve on the 4th is to DIE FOR!!!! There is lots of fun for kids too. We just ran out of kids:(

Our second tradition is going to Brownie's Lake in the Uintas.

Tom has also been going there his whole life.

It is always beautiful and peaceful.

We have wonderful memories of being there with people who have moved on to the other side.

It is the perfect playground for kids and the fishing is good too. Personally all I need is good company and a good book. O, and games to play.
